Races part 2

Yesterday I said I would finish the race section by talking about the two speculated races. After writing this article I found the following video which gives more compelling arguments as to why the Dregg and the Chua as the likely fourth races, all credits for the video go to LonelyHeroHD.  A quick disclaimer: The concept art shown in this video for the Dregg is actually fan art by VicDeLaCruz

So the Exiles seem to be getting an undead race called the Dregg who are hinted at twice in the previous posts video. When the video shows the exiles arms raised in unity, the far left arm seems to be a zombie arm and then at 1:33 it shows a coffin. So if you put the pieces together, the fourth race might be a mutant zombie that sustains its longevity with coffins and chemicals. Another Dominion experiment in cloning gone wrong perhaps?

There has also been two different concept pictures that have been pointed at by fans so far.

The Dominion seem to be getting a race named “Chua”. The Chua race looks to be rather tiny– almost Gremlin-like or imp-like who are in love with alchemy and gadgets, they have been described as mad scientists. In addition This blurry screen capture appears to be a NPC talking to a player Chua.

Races

There are eight races divided into two factions, the Exiles and the Dominion. Although six races have already been announced the remaining two have probable speculation based on concept art and video of quests in the beta, I will cover them in the following post.

The Exiles are composed of:

•  Humans who are not part of the evil empire
• Granoks who are skull-crushing, beer guzzling, hard charging, rock like humanoids.
• Aurin who are forest dwelling, tree hugging, playboy bunnies.

The Dominion is composed of:

• Cassians who are humans that are part of an evil empire.
•  Draken who are humanoid dragons.
• Mechari who are nine foot tall robots of death and destruction.

Discovery of Wildstar

While browsing WoW Insider this last week I came across an article talking about an upcoming MMO called Wildstar expected to be released at the end of 2013. The article itself didn't say much so I had to end up googling it here is what I found.

The game itself seems to be a mix of Ratchet and Clank, Warcraft, and Firefly. After only two days of reviewing videos and weeding through reviews and forum posts, I've decided to give a new MMO a chance, the first since I started playing WoW in vanilla.
